JAK FPSO (Manifold Extension Study and Compressor Module)

Project description

Compressor Module

A Compressor Module feasibility study was conducted to evaluate the material handling capabilities of incorporating it into the available space. Planning considerations encompassed the periodic removal every five years of specific components, including the compressor casing, rotor, and the strategic planning required for replacing the gearbox and cooling system. Two optional lifting scenarios were explored: employing two 10-ton monorails for hoisting to the main deck through a hatch on the first floor or utilizing a single 10-ton monorail extended to another module with the addition of a removable stair.

Manifold  Extension

A detailed constructability engineering for installing an extension of the HP and Test manifolds on MM2. Activities include budget quotations, 3D modelling, updating engineering documentation, risk analysis, piping stress calculations, ship stability reports, scheduling, and structural drawings. The project target is to connect three new risers with liquid flow rates of up to 5,000 BPD and gas flow rates of up to 5 MMSCFD to both HP Oil Production and Oil Production Test manifolds. Study partners include Focus Techhouse Engineering, Inocean, and DNV.
